Who we are
SAAKSHI is provided by Adiyen Technologies Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (“Adiyen”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit saakshi.ai or use a SAAKSHI account, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
If you have any question about this policy, write to info@saakshi.ai.
What this policy covers
We decide how and why personal data is used for our website, demo requests, the chat assistant, sign-in and account administration. For those activities, this policy applies.
Our customers use SAAKSHI to record and review the work of their AI agents. The records a customer sends to the platform belong to that customer, and we handle them only on the customer’s instructions and under our agreement with them. If your personal data appears in a customer’s records, that customer is responsible for it, and you should contact them first. We will help them respond to you.
What we collect and why
We only collect what we need for each activity below. We do not use your personal data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
| When you | We collect | To |
|---|---|---|
| Booking a demo | Name, work email, preferred date and time, and any notes you add | To schedule the demo, confirm it by email and follow up with you |
| Using the website chat assistant | The messages you type, and any details you choose to share in them | To answer your questions and, if you ask, book a demo for you |
| Signing in | Your email address and one-time sign-in codes | To create your account, verify it is you and keep your account secure |
| Being invited by a customer | Your email address and the role you are given (for example reviewer or auditor) | To send you the invitation and give you the access the customer chose |
| Using the platform | Activity and usage records, settings, and technical data such as IP address, browser type and access times | To run the service, show you usage reports, keep it secure and fix problems |
| Contacting us | Your name, email address and the contents of your message | To respond to you and keep a record of the conversation |
We process this data with your consent, which you give when you submit a form, start a chat, sign in or accept an invitation, or where it is needed to provide the service your organisation has asked for, to keep it secure, or to meet a legal obligation.
Emails we send
We only send emails that relate to something you did or to your account:
- one-time sign-in codes when you ask to sign in,
- confirmations and updates about a demo you booked,
- invitations a customer asked us to send you,
- important service, security and account notices, and
- replies to messages you send us.
We do not send marketing email unless you have asked to receive it, and any such email will include a way to unsubscribe. We never buy, rent or share email lists. If an email to you bounces or is marked as spam, we automatically stop sending to that address.
Where your data is stored
We store the service’s data in data centres located in India. Two exceptions apply, and both involve only the content you choose to send:
- the website chat assistant’s AI provider may process messages outside India,
- AI providers you connect with your own key may process requests outside India.
Where data is processed outside India, we only use providers that protect it to a standard comparable to this policy, and never in a country where such transfers are restricted by Indian law.
How long we keep it
- Demo requests and messages to us— up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Chat assistant conversations— we do not keep transcripts once the conversation ends. Our AI provider may keep them briefly under its own terms.
- Account data— for as long as your account is active, and deleted within 90 days after it is closed.
- Security and access logs— for at least one year, to detect, investigate and prevent misuse.
- Customer records— for the period set in the customer’s agreement, then returned or deleted.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, passwordless sign-in with one-time codes, access limited to people who need it, and continuous monitoring and logging.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities without undue delay, explain what happened, and describe what we are doing about it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it,
- correct, complete or update it,
- delete it, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation,
- withdraw your consent at any time — as easily as you gave it. This does not affect processing that already happened, but we may no longer be able to provide the service,
- let someone else exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to do so, and
- resolve a complaint about how we handle your data.
Send your request to info@saakshi.aiwith the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will respond as soon as possible and in any case within 90 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority in India.
Children
SAAKSHI is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email before they take effect.
